This research explores the issues and challenges facing music teachers in England today. It aims to understand these provide a more detailed understanding of their views about potential opportunities limitations education. does this through an analysis new data drawn from online question (n.621) telephone interviews (n.38) with across all regions England. collection took place early 2020 prior lockdown as result COVID-19. The during April May 2020, while was under lockdown. Key themes explored relate funding, equal access education, hidden personal costs, confidence policy making, leadership accountability.
